Payne-Corley House Fall Wedding

On Saturday November 23rd I got to photograph Heidi Bergman and Tyler Kling tie the knot! I met Heidi at the Peachtree Corners Festival this past spring. She and Tyler were seriously an awesome and FUN couple to photograph. They seemed shy and quiet at first but once I got to know them better I realized we shared a very similar quirky sense of humor. For instance she came down the isle to one of the songs from The Never Ending Story! The more I think about it, the more I love it! Its just totally one of the best movies ever!!!In addition the best man had octopus cuff links. When I asked what the significance was, the response was simply,  "Because they are totally awesome!".... And the were!!!
The weather was supposed to be incredibly cold and rainy, but it turned out to be a really nice cool day. I think her colors of purple and green really made the few yellow leaves left on the trees pop! Her grand father even had on a purple shirt to match!
Heidi really liked the old Magnolia tree in front of the Payne-Corley House. She informed me that it is also one of the oldest Magnolia's in the state of Georgia! I really liked how the crawling limbs and branched of the tree looked with the cloudy sky! Made it more dramatic!

Veterans Day at the Atlanta Athletic Club 2013

Those that truly know me, know that I am a very patriotic person. Especially those that went to art school with me. But that is another story. I was excited when I was asked to photograph the Veterans Day event at the Atlanta Athletic Club. The club invited soldiers from Fort Benning to attend the event.
I have to admit that sometimes while I'm taking pictures I feel moments when it is inappropriate to be taking pictures. I am hired to take pictures, and document everything through the event so I follow suit.
During the Star Spangled Banner, and the Pledge of Allegiance I felt it was wrong of me to be in the presence and not have my and hand over my heart. I did continue to take pictures, but once I had the shot I took the moment to do so.  I did not photograph some of the Veterans shedding tears during a fellow soldiers speech. He spoke about what it is that a soldier does and why........and "Its for the man beside him"!

Charleston Wedding at Cottage on the Creek!

On October 4th my cousin Kelley and her Fiance Zachariah Crenshaw got married at Cottage on the Creek! It is a beautiful venue next to some fun restaurants and bars in Mount Pleasant! The wedding was loads of fun, as if the apple cinnamon moonshine that was given when you checked-in wasn't a sign! She also had the most beautiful flowers that were done by Southern Vines and Garden Market!

I have to admit we became pretty crunched for time, but we made it to the top balcony just in time for the sunset. We seriously had only about five minutes maybe not even that before the sun went away!

McDaniel Farm Photo Session

This past weekend I did a photo session at McDaniel Farm park. It was not just an ordinary photo session.
This one was of my family. My sister in-law Courtney Brown, had her own photography business a few years back. Once she decided to stop, my husband Bradley gave me that extra push, and that was when I started my own.

She and her husband Mike helped us immensely  in the beginning. So needless to say, I was so excited to photograph them. I am happy with the turn out of the pictures. Even with the ones after little Logan had a melt down.

But once he was given a  minute and allowed to do his own thing we were able to get the shots on the bridge. Enjoy! To see more pictures go to: http://allpaigespicturesproofs.com.instaproofs.com/store/?login=927273

Downtown Norcross Engagement Session

The other week I got to take pictures of this couple in Downtown Norcross! Heidi really wanted the changing color of the leaves to be in the pictures, but unfortunately they had not really started changing yet.

So I collected leaves from various parks and had a friend collect some colorful leaves from her yard!  It was a beautiful afternoon, and unfortunately half the town thought so too!

It was also homecoming weekend and there was about 150 people at the main park, using up the beautiful scenery. There was even a wedding taking place in the center of the park! It was a unique wedding for sure! Everyone was in costumes! I truly believe it may have been a couple that met at the Renaissance festival! Or Netherworld!
Heidi and Tyler were true troopers through the frustrations of people getting in the way of the shots! We all ended up having a good time and some really good laughs! I truly look forward to photographing their Wedding in November!
