Photography has been a passion for me from a very early stage of life. At eight years old I was given my first camera. My interest grew, and I fell in love with the idea of a moment being frozen in time. The precise second a shutter releases it becomes a time capsule, a slice of life that will never be relived again. I favor the candid shots that reveal the true person, and the energy experienced in that moment of time.
I furthered my education in photography and studied photography in downtown Atlanta at the Earnest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University. In 2009 I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Photography. While in school I carried out freelance photography and event photography, until I landed the opportunity to be the official photographer for the Atlanta Athletic Club’s 2011 PGA Championships.
Since then I have had great opportunities photographing families’ children, anniversaries, and weddings. I strive to work with the clients to capture moments that will tell their story and become a time capsule for those long after them.
