I can't believe she is already a month old! Lilly Lorraine Johnson graced us with her presence on May 7th after 57 hours of labor. Bradley and I went to Gwinnett Medical to start the induction process on Monday May 4th, and she did not arrive until Thursday!! Let's just say she was pretty happy in there!!!

After years of taking newborn photos for clients, I was surprised at how laid back I was on taking photos. I didn't want to rush the experience. We took the pictures over a span of her 1st month. The first set of pictures were taken at 5 days old. We choose the glider in her nursery.

One day my friend Victoria came by and took some pictures of here on a bed. I have been helping her build photography skills over the past few years and she does a pretty darn good job.

Over the next few weeks I randomly got the camera out and photographed her hands, ears, and all the things I wanted to remember the most. I noticed one day how long her eyelashes had grown. The next week I noticed how she would notice herself in the mirror on the changing table. I truly love watching her grow and change. I felt we captured it well through this series of images.

Baby Shower at Park Tavern in Atlanta

Last weekend my husband and my parents attended a baby shower with old friends at Park Tavern. It was definitely more than just a shower, because we got to see some old friends we hadn't seen in quite awhile. Remember those twins I photographed back in February of 2013? I haven't seen them since then. I can't believe how big they have gotten.

She really loved her big belly and wanted a picture to show off her growing belly. So I decided to get abstract with some of the shots. Maddi (soon to be big sister), loved climbing the willow tree all afternoon so, I decided to incorporate the tree in the shots too. At the end of the day my mom thought it would be fun for Maddi to let the balloons float away.

I have to say that out of all the photographs I got I love these the best. They just make me laugh and giggle every time I see them.
