Baby Shower at Park Tavern in Atlanta

Last weekend my husband and my parents attended a baby shower with old friends at Park Tavern. It was definitely more than just a shower, because we got to see some old friends we hadn't seen in quite awhile. Remember those twins I photographed back in February of 2013? I haven't seen them since then. I can't believe how big they have gotten.

She really loved her big belly and wanted a picture to show off her growing belly. So I decided to get abstract with some of the shots. Maddi (soon to be big sister), loved climbing the willow tree all afternoon so, I decided to incorporate the tree in the shots too. At the end of the day my mom thought it would be fun for Maddi to let the balloons float away.

I have to say that out of all the photographs I got I love these the best. They just make me laugh and giggle every time I see them.

Carolina Wedding

On June 7th Kelly and Michael got married in Waynesville North Carolina. The wedding took place at Kelly's sister and brother in-law's home which was a restored farm house originally build in 1914. It was a perfect location for this small intimate wedding up in the mountains! The flowers were fresh Peonies from a local farmer, and attached to her bouquet was a picture of her father that had passed. Michael also had in honor of his father a gold pocket watch, which he wore for the ceremony. Kelly wore a soft flowing caped sleeve dress from Davids Bridal and cowboy boots that were most fitting for this southern wedding. For the meal everyone gathered on the front porch along tables decorated with burlap, wildflowers and decorated mason jars. As a wedding gift, guest got to take a jar home! I thought this was such a great idea. For 20% off all Prints order by July 31st discount code: Wilson20

Laurel Ridge Trail at Buford Dam

All Paige's Pictures

Bradley and I are gearing up for Kelly and Michael's wedding this weekend! They are tying the knot at Kelly's sister and brother-in-law's historic home in Waynesville North Carolina. So check back to see photographs of the wedding soon! However, you can check out their photographs from their additional shoot, which I offer in one of my packages! Kelly really wanted the session to be around water and nature. So, I did some research because I wanted to find a 'New' location and I found out about a trail at the Buford Dam called Laurel Ridge Trail. I walked the whole thing one afternoon and loved the part of the trail that went along the river.

60th Wedding Anniversary at the Atlanta Athletic Club

This is the second 60th wedding Anniversary I've gotten to photograph. I have to say after both events I drove all the way home and thought how special this milestone is!!! I hope that couples that do make it to 60 years take pride and know how it is such a rarity for modern day marriages. The couple are John and Barbara Dunster. They celebrated with friends and family at the Atlanta Athletic Club. Many of the friends were from many years of working at Amoco, and even long family friend Xavier Roberts that founded the Cabbage Patch Kids. There were many speeches about funny stories and events through out the years. There were even some crazy Priest jokes! When I got home I realized I never asked them advise on how to make it to a 60th anniversary and after going over these images and remembering the night I believe it is patience and being with someone that makes you laugh. to see more visit my Gallery at www.allpaigespictures.com

Some how I just loved this picture. It captured the spontaneity of the evening and the love and laughter that everyone was filled with!

"Snowpcalypse" Newborn Twins, Johns Creek

Dominic and Vincent

The other day I photographed newborn twins! They arrived during the "Snowpocalypse" in Atlanta. The photo session was in Johns Creek, Ga. and are the sons of Neil and Faith Doldo. I met Neil at the Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC), he is the Fitness Director of the AAC.

In some if the pictures we put the #44 football jersey from Syracuse University, and the autographed football from Floyd Little. We also put the newborns in baseball gloves! I thought this was just adorable! AJ, the luckiest big brother ever had also gotten his newborn pictures in a baseball glove. So we felt this was fitting for the boys!
Something I love about the family portrait on the sofa was the lighting! I felt that the cool blue with the beige curtain and burst of light was just beautiful! I am very happy with how it turned out.
