McDaniel Farm Photo Session

This past weekend I did a photo session at McDaniel Farm park. It was not just an ordinary photo session.
This one was of my family. My sister in-law Courtney Brown, had her own photography business a few years back. Once she decided to stop, my husband Bradley gave me that extra push, and that was when I started my own.

She and her husband Mike helped us immensely  in the beginning. So needless to say, I was so excited to photograph them. I am happy with the turn out of the pictures. Even with the ones after little Logan had a melt down.

But once he was given a  minute and allowed to do his own thing we were able to get the shots on the bridge. Enjoy! To see more pictures go to: http://allpaigespicturesproofs.com.instaproofs.com/store/?login=927273

Downtown Norcross Engagement Session

The other week I got to take pictures of this couple in Downtown Norcross! Heidi really wanted the changing color of the leaves to be in the pictures, but unfortunately they had not really started changing yet.

So I collected leaves from various parks and had a friend collect some colorful leaves from her yard!  It was a beautiful afternoon, and unfortunately half the town thought so too!

It was also homecoming weekend and there was about 150 people at the main park, using up the beautiful scenery. There was even a wedding taking place in the center of the park! It was a unique wedding for sure! Everyone was in costumes! I truly believe it may have been a couple that met at the Renaissance festival! Or Netherworld!
Heidi and Tyler were true troopers through the frustrations of people getting in the way of the shots! We all ended up having a good time and some really good laughs! I truly look forward to photographing their Wedding in November! The Trolley Barn in Inman Park, Atlanta

On July 26th my dear friend Kristi Allen married her love Sam Brod at The Trolley Barn in Inman Park. Kristi and I go back, and we shared some of the best of times together! She now lives out in California with Sam! It had been about 2 years since I had seen Kristi, and the minute she and I met up, it was as if we never had that time apart!

I met Sam for the first time on the wedding day and after only about 15 minuets, I felt I had already known him! And because of this I know they are a perfect match, a pair, peas in a pod! Cheesy.... I know, but .... its true! I wish you both the best!

It was truly a "Suth-un Wedd-en" that just matched the impeccable weather we were all blessed to have on this day, considering all the rain Georgia has seen this year! I loved the colors in the wedding along with all the flowers, and peaches that were placed all around the buffet! And Yes that is a Pecan Pie Wedding
Cake!

Atlanta Athletic Club: Father Daughter Dance '13

This past Saturday was the annual father daughter dance at the Atlanta Athletic Club. I have to admit after almost 7 years of working at the club I had never seen this event.

For me, and I imagine many others it is easy to assume that it is an event that many fathers are forced into by the mother as a way for them to be more involved, and to spend time with the girl/s. However, with in the first few minuets it was evident that most of the fathers wanted, and quite possibly decided on their own they wanted to attend the event!

Soon the ballroom was packed with fathers wearing princess tiara's, dutifully following their girls around. One could easily tell the heavy heart some of the fathers had as their daughters left the dance floor for a friends arrival. While those that stayed on the dance floor showed off their proficient dance skills! I think next year they should have a dance contest!

Atlanta Food Trucks

My husband and I went to the Atlanta Food Truck's with some friend and had a blast of course!!
Festival foods have all ways been a huge deal for me. At Fall festivals you can always find me near the food area.

I cant get over all the fun eclectic food combinations, and of course the over accentuated portion sizes!!

I had The Uncle Ian from the WOW Food Truck. AAAnd..... It was delicious! It consisted of 48 smoked beef brisket on top of cheese grits and topped off the chipolata sauce.

Yes.. Of course we ended it with King of Pop's!! If anyone is curious the Grapefruit -Mint is wonderful!!
